Two in three Aussie’s will get skin cancer within their lifetime. Yet, people are often reluctant (read: too busy) to prioritise their health. So, we’ve made it easy. MoleMap’s workplace skin cancer checks are tailored to meet your company’s needs. Regardless of your industry. In the last 12 months, we’ve detected a malignant skin cancer in 5% of employees checked.
And with a dermatologist review included, this means a shorter journey to treatment, better outcomes and peace of mind for everyone.
A dedicated MoleMap team member takes care of all the administration to minimise disruption to your business’ productivity. We’ll provide the booking link and promotional materials, such as flyers, to boost employee engagement. We provide real-time reporting on program uptake and ongoing administration support to maximise the outcome. You’ll also receive a post-program report to verify the effectiveness of the initiative.
That’s okay. We can provide you with vouchers to be used at one of MoleMap’s 46+ (participating) clinics Australia-wide. Alternatively, we can arrange for a skin screening service to be held at a convenient, third-party site.
The pricing for MoleMap’s workplace skin cancer clinic is based on several factors including: number of employees, location, and the type of skin check service you’d like for your employees. One of our dedicated team members will work with you to understand your needs and provide a tailored quote.
For more than 25 years, MoleMap’s proven skin mapping (head-to-toe dermascopic imaging) and mole monitoring program has been detecting skin cancers earlier and with greater accuracy than visual checks. Suspicious or ‘at risk’ moles are sent to a dermatologist for diagnoses. This is what sets our skin cancer clinics apart. Our unrivalled experience and world-first early detection offers reassurance that either skin cancer is not present or that it was found early enough to be treated.
The Full Body MoleMap is the most comprehensive service provided by MoleMap cancer skin clinics. We recommend this type of skin check for people with a high number of moles, a family personal history of skin cancer, unusual looking moles, or previous sun damage. It includes:
People with few moles or who have spotted a new or unusual looking mole, may prefer a SkinCheck. This service includes a complete head-to-toe skin assessment. Any suspect moles will be imaged and sent for dermatologist diagnosis.
The main difference is that the SkinCheck does not include total body photography. This means you won’t have a baseline of images to compare at future skin checks. Also, it doesn’t include unlimited free skin checks for 12 months or the proactive monitoring of benign lesions (in case of change).
Our SkinCheck+ service is designed for people with a small number of moles, but who want the added reassurance of full body photography. You’ll get a complete head-to-toe skin assessment, with suspect moles imaged and sent for dermatologist diagnosis. In addition, you’ll get a baseline of images that can be used as a record for future skin checks. It does not include the proactive monitoring over time that you get with the Full Body MoleMap.
Note: If your organisation pays for skin check vouchers, your employees are welcome to apply that voucher as a discount toward a more comprehensive service, if it is more suitable for them.
This will depend on the type of skin check. A Full Body MoleMap takes approximately 45-minutes to complete. A SkinCheck takes around 15-20 minutes per employee.
MoleMap skin cancer checks are performed in-person by one of our melanographers. A melanographer is a registered nurse or other allied health professional who has been specifically trained in skin cancer detection. Every melanographer must complete the 8-12 week ‘Pathway to Melanography’ course and/or receive an advanced certificate of dermoscopy.
We are pioneers in this field and have written the professional course, which is available through the Australasian College of Dermatologists. All of our melanographers are subject to ongoing audits and continuous training. To find out more about our melanographers, please read: MoleMap Australia: Get to Know Your Trusted Melanographer.
